Monday 5th October

  • 12:00-12:45  Welcome aperitif

 

Tuesday 5th October

  • 17:50 - 18:30 Let's go in the future ! During ~40 minutes, we will be in 2095, at the OHP conference celebrating 'a century of exoplanets'. We look forward for contributors to present their research at this epoch in a 3 slides - 3 minutes talk ! The best ranked subject and presentation will receive an award during the conference dinner. If you wish to participate, could you please send us the title of your presentation (ohp2015@sciencesconf.org). 
  • 20:30  We organize a wine tasting on Tuesday evening and participants are welcome to bring a bottle of wine in order to make discover the finest wine from their own country.
  • We will organize a ping-pong competition too that evening.

Wednesday 7th October

  • Afternoon 14:00 Excursions (registration at OHP at beginning of the week)
    • 1/  Les carrières d'Ocre de RustrelRustrel is a nice and wellkown place in Provence, about 1h from OHP by bus. From pale yellow to deep blood red, the stones and sands in Rustrel are amazing. They have been used for pigments for centuries in Provence.  Good shoes are recommended. White shoes or clothes may remind that walk for a while...  We will leave Rustrel at 17:00 for Saint-Michel and your hotel.

    • 2/ Banon  -  Besides beeing a typical village of Haute-Provence, Banon is known for two things that build up its reputation: A tasting cheese, the Banon, is appreciated in the region and beyond (more on Wikipedia !). For those interested,  we will visit the cheese manufacture, and taste will be possible for 4.50 euros. Banon also houses an extraordinary bookshop, one of the largest in France, Le Bleuet, with 100,000 books in stock. Be prepared!    We will leave Banon at 17:15 for Saint-Michel and your hotel.

  • Evening 19:00 Conference dinner.    The conference dinner will be held at the Golf du Luberon in Pierrevert, near Manosque. The Menu is avaible in french and in english too. An alternative vegetarian menu is proposed too. close-up magician will be among us !  The winners of the two games (OHP 2095 best talk and badge enigma) will receive their award. The price for the dinner is 30 euros per participant, and 53 euros per accompanying person, to be paid in cash at OHP at the beginning of the conference week. To register for the dinner, please send an email to Nathalie Bressand, specifying the number of persons and menu (main or vegetarian).  Note also that we will fully organise the transport to the restaurant: After the excursions, a bus will drive you to your hotel, and will pick up you later for the dinner.

Thursday 8th October

20:30  We organize a musical and dancing evening at Villa O (at OHP)
